Following the production of the Skilled Trade Academy program awareness film, we identified an opportunity to extend the value of the original shoot. From the same production day, we developed a four-part Success Story series, each highlighting an individual participant’s journey through the program.

This featured piece focuses on Asyrian Jackson.

Initially nervous during the interview process, Asyrian required a careful, patient approach to create a comfortable environment. Once settled, he opened up about his early uncertainty, lack of experience in construction, and the growth he experienced through the program. The final edit captures his progression from hesitation to confidence, emphasizing accountability, skill development, and personal transformation.

His story centers on:
• Entering the program without prior trade experience
• Building confidence in punctuality, teamwork, and communication
• Completing OSHA training
• Gaining workplace readiness skills including resume development and interview preparation
• Setting long-term goals, including pursuing a journeyman’s license

The tone of the piece is personal and forward-looking, highlighting not just technical training, but growth in character and mindset. His reflections on the academy’s supportive culture reinforce the organization’s family-oriented approach and long-term investment in participants.

This project demonstrates:

By transforming one production day into multiple targeted assets, we delivered not only a program overview film but also four personalized success stories that can be used for recruitment, fundraising, social media, and stakeholder engagement.
